ART TO SATORI
To sense the invisible. To awaken the eternal.
Bonji, mandala and life photography, together with sound and light. Masahiko and Sayaka Hashimoto bring ancient wisdom and contemporary science into an encounter with the source of life.

An encounter with the invisible.
The wisdom of Kūkai meets images of life revealed by science. Through that encounter, we explore our place within one interconnected universe.
Stand before a work, listen and inhabit the space. The experience invites a renewed sense of our own existence and worth.
Forms of prayer.
Bonji carries sound and prayer; mandala expresses an interconnected world. Works combine these forms with life photography by Lennart Nilsson and the artists’ messages.
Selected works include Miroku Bosatsu and the Star of Life, and Dainichi Nyorai of the Womb Realm.
Art, place and you.
From the Inochi Exhibition at Kongōbu-ji in Kōyasan to Expo 2025 and Ninna-ji’s Oku-shoin, each setting brings its own light and atmosphere to the work.
The Ninna-ji exhibitionFrom art to dialogue.
Exhibitions, film, talks and dialogue can be brought together for cultural venues, communities and educational settings. Tell us about your space and theme.
